We’re Hiring for a Junior Electrician
We are busier than ever at DRS Electrical and so we’re expanding the team! We’re looking to add a Junior Electrician to our Small Works division.
DRS Electrical are a friendly, family-run and very experienced electrical contracting company.
This role is perfect for someone who has recently finished college or is in their first or second job and wants to gain hands-on experience working in domestic properties.
The Role
You’ll be working in customers’ homes carrying out a variety of small electrical jobs, including:
· Fault finding and repairs
· Changing light fittings, sockets, and switches
· External and garden lighting
· Assisting with EV charger installations
· General domestic electrical works
You’ll be working alongside experienced electricians who will support your development and help you grow your skills.
About You
We’re looking for someone who:
· Has completed electrical college training (Level 2 or 3)
· Is keen to learn and progress in the trade
· Has a positive attitude and strong work ethic
· Is polite, reliable, and professional with customers
· Takes pride in their work
· Holds a UK driving licence (or is close to getting one)
Domestic experience is helpful but not essential — the right attitude matters most.
