Small Works Division
Many of you will know that in the past DRS predominantly have worked on large scale refurbishment and new build projects. As the business has grown organically over the years, the need for a division to focus solely on the smaller jobs, including snagging of the large jobs has become apparent.
We want to be able to respond as promptly as we can to all requests for work and this is why the new Small Works Division has been born! Headed up by Sam Hoare, who has been a long standing member of DRS Electrical, we are excited to get the word out that we are now available for any job – big or small.
Sam will be assisted in the office by new recruit Stephanie West. Steph will be in charge of managing the incoming calls and scheduling the jobs in.
Our small works division will carry out any job that can be completed within 1-3 days and will include:
- All types of electrical testing, landlord and condition reports
- Fault finding and repair works
- Short term or regular maintenance works
- All types of alterations
- Security lighting
- Car chargers
- Internal and external work
- LED upgrades
- Smoke alarms
- Emergency call outs
- Maintenance
- Repair
- Fault finding
- Small installations
- Testing
- Condition reports
Our small works division will also be looking after clients with maintenance contracts so that we are on hand and ready to offer same day repairs where necessary.

When we undertook a major reconstruction of our home ten years ago, D R Smith and Partner were contracted to replace and extend the entire electrical system.
